In response to requests from customers we have now introduced an alteration service to make our popular warmlined waterproof jacket available in a back opening version, which makes dressing much easier for people who have difficulty in getting their arms into sleeves.
Description
Customers have been telling us tales of having to put a jacket on back to front because of the difficulty of dressing, but our simple alteration means that this still looks and functions like an ordinary jacket but is much easier to put on. These variations permit the wearer to have a jacket which is simplicity itself to put on but with the appearance of an ordinary jacket.Customers buying the back-opening jacket might like to buy the caped hood, which in addition to offering a waterproof hood has a fly cape to go over the back of the chair for added waterproofing.

Easy to put on and keeps me warm
This is easy for my carers to put on me. It doesn’t need to be done up at the back, because in my power chair the seat will keep my back warm. So it just needs to cover the front of me and it keeps me warm. Although I do need to wear a scarf because my neck feels a bit exposed. But it’s a very good product

Women's waterproof jacket,
I bought one of these about a year ago and it is wonderful. It is lined, I love the color, and keeps me warm and dry. It is just too rare to find something suitable when you’re sitting in a wheelchair. I am extremely happy with this jacket. I wish there was more clothing for people in wheelchairs at sensible prices.

I have just had delivery of three items of clothing for my dad who has mobility problems and uses a wheelchair full time. We are absolutely delighted with the quality ,fit and design of the items . The design is absolutely brilliant for wheelchair users and in particular the jacket , with the velcro fastening back is superb as we were struggling to get Dads normal jackets on and being able to slip the jacket on from the front and fasten at the back in a few seconds – makes life so much easier !! The slightly higher front of the jacket also means it doesn’t bulk out at the front and lies nicely as he is sitting in the wheelchair .Just wanted to congratulate you all on such brilliant designs but also the quality of the clothing . We will be buying a lot more clothing from you – well done and thank you

Good product....
In our case it would be better to be cut shorter at the back than at the front like a previous one my daughter had as she has a moulded wheelchair, my mistake when ordering but I had it altered locally and she now into her second year of use.
