Drop front trousers in comfortable jersey for single-handed management, easy dressing and with a continuous inner waistband.  Now one of our biggest selling designs – and no wonder.  These trousers are very easily managed by anyone with poor manual dexterity – especially anyone who has the use of only one arm.

The Original Drop Fronts are now available in size 3XL, which will stretch easily to fit a 54″ waist, but are actually cut at 56″ so will stretch to fit a slightly larger size.  They are available in navy blue only.  We are now holding wheelchair trousers in stock hemmed and ready to wear at the equivalent length for standard trousers worn standing.  Please bear in mind that wheelchair trousers should generally be worn at anything between 2″ and 3″ longer than when standing.  Standard leg lengths are 31″ or 34″ for all sizes except the 3XL, which is 35″

(For anyone who requires to be dressed while lying flat, go to the inner opening style – those trousers open out flat to below hip level to permit easy lie-flat dressing but perform in the same way when worn while sitting in the chair.)

The jersey trousers are made from a cotton rich jersey fabric which has a soft, brushed lining and is easy to wash.

Machine wash at 30c but turn outside in before laundering.  Before drying please reshape by pulling gently on the legs to stretch out the cotton fibres and return the legs to the correct length.  This is important.Fabric:  40%cotton/40%polyester/20%acrylicWe will not accept responsibility for jersey garments which have been damaged in washing.
